Beyonce's Unforgettable Met Gala Looks

Beyonce's Met Gala debut in 2008 was the beginning of a fashion frenzy for her BeyHive and the fashion industry. She has given us stunning gowns year after year and it's unimaginable how else is she going to top her previous look but surprisingly, she does.

In 2016, her interpretation of Manus x Machina: Fashion in an Age of Technology theme was wearing a latex gown with a whopping 2,000 pearl embellishments by Givenchy. That is how you slaytex!

Her take on the theme China: Through the Looking Glass was so smart. Instead of wearing China inspired gowns, she wore a transparent Givenchy gown because glasses are transparent. Simply genius! The intricate gown that began the nude dress mania in Hollywood was designed by Riccardo Tisci for Givenchy.

Apart from being stunning at the 2014 Met Gala with the theme Charles James: Beyond Fashion, this gown by Givenchy was memorable because it witnessed something in an elevator that made headlines for weeks. The dress featured a V neckline, cinched waist and middle high slit. She completed her look with demure netted veil.

Queen Bey translated Punk: From Chaos to Couture theme of the 2013 Met Gala with leather belt and bustier, gloves, thigh-high boots and fiery skirt. She put the red carpet on flames. This was her second Givenchy look for the Met.

Who could forget about her jaw dropping 2012 Met Gala look by Givenchy. We were just breathless and speechless at the same time as we watched her slowly go up the stairs. She had just given birth to Blue Ivy that year and she's currently on tour so many speculated that she will not attend the event, but lo and behold, she came to slay. It was a last minute decision to attend but she managed to look this good. She has the best style crew for pulling it off in such a short notice.

For the love of fashion, Beyonce pulled this Alexander McQueen fishtail gown during the 2011 Met Gala. Fitting to the theme Alexander McQueen: Savage Beauty, she definitely was savage because she was able to walk in that impossible silhouette, with the hep of Jay-Z and Ty Hunter (her stylist).

Beyonce's Met Gala debut in 2008 didn't disappoint. While others took literal interpretation of the theme Superheroes: Fashion and Fantasy, she arrived wearing a bubblegum pink Armani Prive gown that simply meant she's a girl and that's more than enough superpower she needs.

Which one is your favorite Met Gala look of Beyonce? We don't want to disappoint you but there are reports that Beyonce will skip this year's event. We are still hopeful that she will change her mind and stun us with her last minute glam look.
