Every year, during May, in almost every town and province of the Philippines, there is a Santa Cruzan. It is a parade commemorating Reyna Elena's pilgrimage in finding the crucifix. She was accompanied by several other reynas including Mary Magdalene. This year, my niece was chosen to be the Reyna Elena with my son as Constantine. She is wearing a dress with sweetheart neckline adorned with floral appliques. The bow on the hip is accessorized with a brooch. To complete her look, she wears statement bracelet, ring and earrings made of cubic zirconia.
