To Die For: Burberry Prorsum Spring 2012 Collection

For spring, Burberry Prorsum played with tribal prints, bold colors, all things woven and beaded. Seeing the collection is like you are being transported to a modern tribe.

Rosie Huntington-Whiteley 'Transformers' premiere looks

I have got to say that Rosie Huntington-Whiteley really prepared for the movie Transformers. Have you seen all of her red carpet appearances lately? I think she made Michael Bay and Steven Spielberg really proud.

For the premiere of the movie in New York City, Rosie opted to wear a sparkling Antonio Berardi gown with serious slit and Christian Louboutin nude pumps.

Hearts began thumping when Rosie arrived for the London premiere wearing this  blue Burberry gown.

Many think this Gucci gown is too revealing but, Rosie pulled it well. I think this girl is having the best summer of her life. Look at those gams!

For the movie premiere in Moscow, RHW chose this pink slouchy Michael Kors gown  and Christian Louboutin pumps. It's not too revealing and I bet Moscow wasn't happy.

Brazil just got hotter when Rosie arrived wearing this Michael Kors dress with sheer skirt.

Reasons why you should visit Net-A-Porter

It's their blogger special. Their little way of appreciating the important contribution of bloggers in fashion. Today's issue covers Bryanboy, Hannelli, Garance Dore and many more.

Another reason is that it is End of Season Sale. Net-A-Porter is taking away 50% off the price from their awesome merchandise--from clothes to accessories to shoes.

Here are some of my picks:
Burberry Prorsum belt in turquoise, $270 previously $450.

Marc by Marc Jacobs 'Arielle Bloom' cashmere and silk blend scarf, $100 previously  $200.

Versace tote, $1665 previously $2775.

DKNY belted brushed cotton blend dress, $206.50 previously $295.

Gucci studded leather sandals, $397.50 previously $795.

Kate Bosworth in Burberry spiked skirt

The man behind Kate Bosworth was overheard saying, "I love Kate, but, I love more my life. So, I'll forget about getting near her."

I wonder how she sits on that skirt. And thank goodness she didn't wear it with a Burberry jacket says 'No hugging, please!'

Clearly, this look is BAD ASS!

Burberry jacket says 'No hugging, please!'

You won't get any hugs if you are wearing this highly studded (spiked) leather biker jacket from Burberry. This jacket will cause double injury... injury to unaware bystanders and injury to the pocket. This one helluva jacket costs $5,995.

2011 Golden Globes Trends

Long Sleeved Gowns

Angelina Jolie in Versace.

Anne Hathaway in Armani Prive.

Leighton Meester in Burberry Prorsum.

Angelina Jolie, Anne Hathaway and Leighton Meester were courageous enough to wear long sleeved gowns during the 2011 Golden Globes and I applaud them for taking risks.

Bubble-Gum Pink Gowns

Natalie Portman in Viktor & Rolf.

Lea Michele in Oscar de la Renta.

Megan Fox in Armani Prive.

What could be cuter than bubble gum pink gowns? Natalie Portman, Lea Michele and Megan Fox were all smiles wearing the color.

Covered Shoulders

Sandra Bullock in Jenny Pakham.

Jennifer Lopez in Zuhair Murad.

Scarlet Johansson in Elie Saab.
This year, it is all about conservatism. Sandra Bullock, Jennifer Lopez (would you believe?) and Scarlet Johansson covered up their shoulders.

Emerald Green

Elizabeth Moss in Donna Karan.

Mila Kunis in Vera Wang.

Catherine Zeta-Jones in Monique Lhuillier.
It seems like Hollywood stars are also heading to Emerald City. Elizabeth Moss, Mila Kunis and Catherine Zeta-Jones were donning emerald gowns.

Designer Dresses on Sale at The Outnet

I think dresses that are priced more than a thousand bucks is no longer reasonable even if they are designer dresses.  I am glad that I have found some designer dresses that are on sale at The Outnet.

Dolce & Gabbana printed silk dress, $966 previously $3,220.  This has a low back to give an element of surprise and sophistication.

Burberry pleated silk-chiffon dress, $768.25 previously $2,195.  This LBD will stay with you for as long as you want.

Michael Kors asymmetric felt-wool dress, $568.50 previously $1,895.  This is the best dress if you want to look edgier.

RM by Roland Mouret Bora crepe sleeveless dress, $790 previously $1,580.  The color of this dress is great and drapes are in this season.

The 50s look is back.  Create an hourglass figure with this belted brocade dress by Michael Kors.  This now sells for $514.50 previously $1,715.

Burberry Prorsum pleated silk-chiffon gown, $978.25 previously 2,795.  This is the same dress design that Jennifer Aniston wore during the premier of Marley and Me.   This is a great buy, if you are a size 4 or 6, you better get this.

Lust/Must: Burberry Prorsum rabbit trench coat

If it is freezing cold, would you wear this Burberry Prorsum rabbit trench coat that costs $3,630.43?  It is not sure if PETA approves of this.  Is this a lust or a must?
