It is all about butterflies for Jean Paul Gaultier's Spring 2014 collection.

 

Everything about the collection is a fantasy turned into reality. 

The details are spectacular! My jaws literally dropped at every sight of the dresses and their amazing details. 

The show was ended by Dita Von Teese wearing a black and blue corset with butterfly details and Christian Louboutin pumps.

To Die For: Kate Spade Spring 2013 RTW

One of my favorite brands is Kate Spade. I just love the way they make dresses that are classic and fun at the same time. Their shoes and bags are also made exquisitely feminine. If there is one brand that understands a woman's 'feminine' side, it is Kate Spade.

For the brand's 2013 spring collection ready-to-wear, each piece is reminiscent of the hay days of 50s and Sunday picnics with bursts of every color possible.

Preview Magazine June 2012 Cover

Five of the most adored celebrities in the Philippines for their talents and fashion sense--Georgina Wilson, Isabelle Daza, Anne Curtis, Solenn Heussaff and Liz Uy--graced the cover of Preview Magazine's June 2012 issue. All of them are wearing Balenciaga's Spring 2012 Collection. Those pin-up shorts made their already long legs even longer! And the shoes... to die for!

If you could still remember, Georgina Wilson and Anne Curtis appeared in America's Next Top Model Cycle 17 and 18 respectively. Isabelle Daza is a print, ramp and commercial model who got her beauty genes from her mom, Gloria Diaz, who was Miss Universe 1969. Solenn Heussaff is a French-Filipina model, VJ and a professional makeup artist. She was also one of the castaways in GMA 7's Survivor Philippines:Celebrity Showdown. Liz Uy, on the other hand, is a stylist by profession with a roster of impressive clientele including the President of the Philippines, Noynoy Aquino. She is currently the editor-at-large of Preview Magazine.

Sarah Burton continues to keep Alexander McQueen's vision alive by creating intricate pieces that creates a fusion with her design taste. I could not think of a better designer for Alexander McQueen than her. For Spring 2012, per usual, each dress is intricately designed using various delicate fabrics of white, lavender, gold, black, blue and red.

There's no need to give a long introduction about Zac Posen... he's just the man... he owns my most favorite Spring 2012 collection. I love all of his dresses!

For his spring collection, Posen played with curves, modern and chic suits reminiscent of the 50s era and gowns that has the most gorgeous floor sweeping mermaid skirts.

To Die For: Carolina Herrera Spring 2012 Collection

Carolina Herrera, New York Fashion Week 2011.

One of my favorite designers is Carolina Herrera. She is such a woman of style and grace that it shows in her designs. Her designs stand the test of time... you just couldn't go wrong with a Carolina Herrera dress. If I own one right now, I can still see myself wearing it in years to come, I might be able to pass it on to my daughter.

For spring, Carolina Herrera's designs are like breathing fresh air over and over again. She played with flowing white, green, blue, yellow and red fabrics with unique but subtle prints combined with color-blocking technique. Per usual, her gowns were breathtaking.

Front row guests for the New York Fashion Week were Nicki Minaj who was seated beside Anna Wintour. Of course, a Carolina Herrera fan since birth, Renee Zellweger was there.
