Emmy Awards 2012 Red Carpet Photos Part 1

Sofia Vergara need not prove that she has one of the most enviable bodies in Hollywood. In every red carpet event, she graciously shows us her curves in the most flattering gowns. For this year's Emmy Awards, she wears a sparkly Zuhair Murad mermaid gown that she accessorized with 175 carats of Neil Lane diamonds. 

It's red carpet season once again, this time the 64th Emmy Awards, and of course stars went all out putting their best food forward in the most spectacular evening gowns from their favorite designers.

People Magazine World's Most Beautiful Woman of 2012

I think none of us can argue that Beyonce deserves to be People Magazine's World's Most Beautiful Woman of 2012. At 30, she has accomplished more than any woman of her age has accomplished. She has won 16 Grammy Awards, an actress, a beauty and style icon, a businesswoman and recently a mother of Blue Ivy to her husband Jay-Z. If there really is one Hollywood star we wish we could be even for a day, it would be Beyonce.

To be a presenter in an awards night poses as much pressure as being nominated.  Kudos to Katie Holmes for her effort to look better than her usual in this blue Calvin Klein gown. 

Glamorous as usual without trying too hard, Kate Winslet shows us that this is the way to look if you are aiming for the win. And it paid off, she won the Lead Actress in a Miniseries or Movie award. Thank you, Elie Saab!

While the rest went for sexy, Jayma Mays opted to be sweet. And we are liking it so much! This Zuhair Murad  tiered gown perfectly fits the sweet personality of Jayma.

Help! Christina Hendricks' girls need some air! The pink Vivienne Westwood dress is really squishing the poor girls. The Mad bombshell usually looks classy, it is just recently that she's been wearing unflattering dresses. This is not the way to play with killer curves, Christina. I'm keeping my fingers crossed on your next red carpet appearance.

I think Mad Men women (January Jones, Christina Hendricks and Elisabeth Moss) are currently the chicest women in television land.  Their dresses are so gorgeous and ladylike... I believe these women influenced the fashion industry to make the 50s ladylike look the in style this season.
