Celebrity Style: Gwyneth Paltrow in oversized blazer

Gwyneth Paltrow raided grandma's closet and we are not happy. A more tailored blazer and shorter skirt would have made a difference and we know Gwyneth can do so much better than that.

To be a presenter in an awards night poses as much pressure as being nominated.  Kudos to Katie Holmes for her effort to look better than her usual in this blue Calvin Klein gown. 

Glamorous as usual without trying too hard, Kate Winslet shows us that this is the way to look if you are aiming for the win. And it paid off, she won the Lead Actress in a Miniseries or Movie award. Thank you, Elie Saab!

While the rest went for sexy, Jayma Mays opted to be sweet. And we are liking it so much! This Zuhair Murad  tiered gown perfectly fits the sweet personality of Jayma.

Gwyneth Paltrow arrived on the red carpet of Palazzo del Cinema in Venice, Italy for the 68th Venice Film Festival wearing Prada's blush colored gown, clutch and heels. She finished off the look by wearing Bulgari's chandelier earrings and cocktail ring from the brand's High Jewelry Collection.

Bummer! Gwyneth Paltrow showed up in Baby Buggy bash wearing a black tube maxi dress and thong sandals without... I mean, without, any accessories. If Gwyneth is trying to pull off a minimalist look, she failed. She could have worn a different colored dress. A necklace or earrings could work wonders, too. Looking at her makes me want to have a snooze.

2nd hit in a row and I could not wait for Halle Berry's next red carpet appearance. After the disastrously  lingerie inspired gown during the Golden Globes, she came back with a revenge with an Elie Saab gown that signals her red carpet comeback. Here, she is wearing a beaded romantic Marchesa number that is purely a sight to behold.

I am not too crazy about Natalie Portman's Rodarte off shoulder gown. It is just so-so but what made her look more interesting is her Tiffany and Co. tassel earrings.

Mila Kunis looks ravishing in this Elie Saab lace gown. The color looks good on her but I am a bit nervous because of the top. Luckily, no fashion mishap was reported.

In all of Anne Hathaway's 8 dress changes in the Oscars, this red Valentino is my least favorite. The color is perfect on her but it's the window treatment like back that killed it.

Nicole Kidman still has wedding bliss and we're not complaining about that, it is just that this embroidered Christian Dior gown is better on the aisle rather than on the red carpet.

Yep! That's Penelope Cruz's post-baby body. Some girls have all the luck. Penelope wears a  sparkling L'Wren Scott dress that gave her the right curves and cleavage.

This Monique Lhuillier gown looks so breathtaking on and off the runway and Mandy Moore proves that. I am just a little concerned about the hair style. What do you think?

I kinda miss Gwyneth Paltrow's red carpet appearances and this Calvin Klein drop waist gown gives me the right amount of satisfaction. It is the deep neckline that made the look unique and all her own.

Hello there Gwyneth!

Such a lovely and classy lady.  Here she is wearing a grey asymmetrical dress with Camilla Skovgaard cutout stilettos. Gwyneth usually always get it right and I hope newcomers will consider her fashion sense if they wanted to stay longer in the biz.

I couldn't find any flaw here except when her undies accidentally showed. At least she is wearing undies unlike  other people out there.
