The Oscars 2014 List of Winners

The most anticipated awards night of the year concluded with Cate Blanchett as the Best Actress for the movie "Blue Jasmine" by Woody Allen. The dapper Matthew McConaughey took home the Best Actor trophy for his performance in "Dallas Buyers Club". Truly deserving of the Best Picture award for this year's Oscars is "12 Years A Slave"--the breakout movie of Lupita Nyong'o, whose acting prowess gave her a Best Supporting Actress statue.

E! has a new look

A day won't pass by without me checking out E! for their latest showbiz news and their photos especially in the Fashion Police. And I was surprised to see that E! has changed the layout of their website. It looks more dynamic and tabloid-ish. I like it.

I found out today that Justin Beiber was sued by a mother who allegedly got hearing impairment because of JB's too loud concert and is seeking $9M in damages. Whoa!

That's crazy news.

Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt are engaged!

Gasp! After seven years and six kids together, Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie are now engaged! The reps of the two confirmed that Brad indeed popped the big question to Angelina and commissioned Robert Procop--the same designer of the "The Style of Jolie" jewelry line, to create the engagement ring.

The ring is estimated to be 10 carats worth $250,000 to $1 million. Jolie debuted the ring on April 11 at Los Angeles County Museum of Art. Jolie and Pitt has yet to announce the day of their marriage.

Well, that is something to look forward to.

Kim Kardashian, flour bombed!

Kim Kardashian had the most unexpected surprise of her life for the launch of her True Reflection perfume at The London Hotel in West Hollywood. While posing in front of photographers, she was bombed by a white substance inside a zip lock by an unidentified woman.

It was later identified that the substance was just flour. The woman was intercepted and was held under the custody of the police.

A few minutes after the incident, Kim went out again (in a different dress, of course) and joked about the whole incident saying, 'That is probably the craziest, unexpected, weird thing that ever happened to me. Like I said to my makeup artist, I wanted more powder and that's a whole lot of translucent powder right there."

Kim has not pressed charges and the woman has been released according to the press release of the Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department.
