Tyra Banks in Rajo Laurel "Insect" evening gown for ANTM

A month after we have seen Tyra Banks in a Francis Libiran gown, she was seen wearing another Filipino designer's evening gown for an episode of America's Next Top Model. Rajo Laurel's "Insect" gown was from his "Rajored" collection for Fall 2009.

Rajo's next plan is to make a dress for Jessica Sanchez of American Idol. Kudos!

Anne Curtis to appear on America's Next Top Model

Here's a news that Filipinos should be proud of... Anne Curtis will appear on America's Next Top model. She will be wearing Francis Libiran's gowns for the show that will air on April 25 (US) and on April 30 (Philippines via ETC). 

Francis Libiran will be the third Filipino fashion designer to be featured in ANTM being Oliver Tolentino and Michael Cinco as the first two, while Anne Curtis will be the second Filipina to model following Georgina Wilson in the underwear photo shoot featuring Bench.

A few weeks ago, Supermodel Tyra Banks was seen wearing Francis Libiran's gown for the annual Blossom Ball wherein she was named one of the best dressed of the event. The gown was not made specifically for the event but was just a gift from Francis.

It seems that we will be seeing more of Tyra in Filipino designed gowns.

America's Next Top Model All-Stars winner is...

Lisa D'Amato!

I watched the final runway show of the three finalists--Allison Harvard, Lisa D'Amato and Angelea Preston, it was a fantastic show. Lisa made a flub when she rose from the water on the other side of the pool. Despite that, she made the runway burn with her catwalk. Fierce.

Although Allison is my favorite, Lisa, the wild child deserves it. She worked really hard to get to the top.

Angelea was disqualified.

Lisa will receive a spread in Vogue Italia, the cover of and a spread in Beauty in Vogue, a blog on Vogue.it and a US$100,000 contract with CoverGirl cosmetics. New to the prize package this year is an Express fashion campaign, the chance to be a correspondent on Extra and, as revealed in episode 7, the chance to be the face of an ANTM-perfume to be launched and sold nationally.

2011 Teen Choice Awards arrival photos

It's time to get slimy again. Time flies so fast. I could still remember how Heidi Klum almost swallowed the slime when she presented during last year's Teen Choice Awards. Let us see who gets a thumbs up in style on the red blue carpet.

Smile. Check. Pose. Check. Fierce Louboutins. Check. It is Blake Lively, indeed.

From the ankle up, Ashley Green looks just so-so. Her shoes, though, is a different story. Although I like the angst of her crisscross sandals, I think it didn't go well with her Givenchy by Riccardo Tisci dress.

The teen goddess, Selena Gomez, did not disappoint. Here, she proves that she deserves to be called  stylish. She wears an Erin Featherson mini with draped hem and Brian Atwood heels. I hope the dress stayed in place.

The Female Hottie nominee, Kim Kardashian, sure is hot in this  halter mini with feathered skirt and simple black pumps.

Taylor Swift will always be a girl even if everyone will wear pants. It wouldn't be Taylor Swift, anyway, if we'll see her not wearing the girliest dresses on the red carpet. 

Fergie twinkled in this Dolce & Gabbana dress and Christian Louboutin pumps, but, those weren't enough to hide her disappointment when her husband, Josh Duhamel, failed to take home a surfboard.

Where is Mr. and Miss J when you need them? Tyra Banks thought its the Comic Con she is attending so she wore this superhero inspired outfit.
