Celebrity Style: Lupita Nyong'o wears a high neck gown at Cannes

Lupita Nyong'o looks stunning in Dior Haute Couture high neck gown with panel details and feathered skirt. It's a brilliant choice to wear in Cannes Film Festival 2018 because she is promoting her movie Sorry Angel. In our own opinion, she could also wear it at the Met Gala because she looks angelic.

Celebrity Style: Jennifer Lawrence in goth inspired ball gown

Jennifer Lawrence continues her appearance for the premiere of Red Sparrow in N.Y.C. wearing a Dior Haute Couture ball gown. The movie is somewhat dark considering that her character is a spy, so it is not surprising that JLaw hits the red carpet in the theme. What's interesting about her ball gown is the corset-like mesh high neck top. To add a pop of color, she accessorized with emerald jewelry by Lorraine Schwartz.

Demi Lovato in Zuhair Murad couture see through lace top and harem pants reminiscent of MC Hammer and Casadei heels. Her perfect hair and makeup shut it down.

Let us start with Lupita Nyong'o who dazzled in a Calvin Klein halter gown with more than 6,000 pearls that she accessorized with diamond Chopard earrings. This gorgeous dress was stolen and then found again. Faux pearls or not, this dress surely made headlines.

Julianne Moore looked radiant in her custom Karl Lagerfeld strapless beaded gown that she finished off with Chopard jewels.

Marion Cotilard never fails to exude classic French sophistication--case in point this Dior gown with polka dot laser cut design.

Reese Witherspoon is on point in this custom Tom Ford pale blue gown with black off shoulder strap and belt that emphasized her waist.

Marion Cotillard in Dior Haute Couture two tone gown

There is something about this Dior Haute Couture gown and Marion Cotillard that made me separate this photo from my SAG Awards red carpet arrival photos post here and here.

First of, I love her new bob! I know maybe some of you might think that she's just being too risky again in fashion but I beg to disagree. Sure, she's been into a lot of fashion flubs in the past few months but look at how great she has emerged from those! I just simply love this look! I love it so much that I want to borrow Rachel Zoe's famous line... I die!

To prove that 2013 is Jennifer Lawrence's year is another Best Actress trophy, this time from the SAG Awards! And she is yet again dressed by Dior Haute Couture... I guess they are meant to be a pair in awards nights. I can't wait to see more of J. Law!

Blue is definitely the color of the SAG Awards... the bubbly (and recent mother) host of E!, Giuliana Rancic, wowed the crowd in this Max Azria belted column dress.

Katrina Bowden, the 30 Rock actress is ethereal in this Badgley Mischka  embellished gown. She's one of the few stars who went for white.

Another lady in white is Naomi Watts who preferred a beaded Marchesa gown is a picture of perfection. She looks like a movie star from an old Hollywood film!

Golden Globes 2013 red carpet arrival photos

Not only did Jennifer Lawrence made it to the best dressed list of the Golden Globes, she also took home with her the Best Actress award for her role in Sliver Linings Playbook! This Dior Haute Couture gown probably brought her the luck.

If there will be a beauty contest for Hollywood stars aged 40 and above, Nicole Kidman would easily make the cut. This Alexander McQueen gown is a breakout style for the usually conservative actress... and we are not complaining!

If this Atelier Versace gown is in a solid color like red or black or blue, I would appreciate it more. Halle Berry has such a beautiful face with an enviable body and allowing the dress to wear her is unforgivable. 

The side swept curls, Jimmy Choo golden clutch, the Zuhair Murad illusion dress... very J. Lo indeed. I guess this is what being 40-ish and in love will do to any woman.

Taylor Swift's post-break up look is a winner. Being beautiful is truly the best revenge! And Donna Karan made sure that she wins.

Academy Awards 2012 arrival photos part 1

The lady is red Louis Vuitton, Michelle Williams, looks every inch sophisticated. The minimal jewels (necklace and brooch on the waist) courtesy of Fred Leighton, the Bottega Veneta pink clutch and crystal pumps made her look a complete knock out.

Natalie Portman made a statement in this red polka dot gown by  Dior Haute Couture. Her black  clutch and spectacular Harry Winston jewelss are to die for.

Emma Stone looks elegant in this Giambattista Valli gown with huge bow on the neck a la Nicole Kidman. She finished off the look by wearing Louis Vuitton jewels and Brian Atwood heels. Her sparkly clutch is also by Louis Vuitton.

Jennifer Lopez was only a presenter but it did not stop her from going all glam and sexy in this  Zuhair Murad gown . Her Salvatore Ferragamo clutch and Jimmy Choo heels completed her look. 

Stacey Keibler wears something that is fresh from Marchesa's runway... a liquid gold lame gown with huge rosette detail on the hip. She completed her look with Judith Leiber clutch, Rene Caovilla heels and Lorraine Schwartz jewels.

Another peplum gown of the night is Tina Fey's black gown by Carolina Herrera. It is very simple and elegant.
